Wes Kremer Named Thrasher Magazine's 2014 Skater of the Year

Congratulations to DC’s Wes Kremer who was named "2014 Skater of the Year" by Thrasher Magazine. The announcement was made on Saturday night at an event in San Francisco, CA with much of the skateboarding industry in attendance. 

The “Skater of the Year award" is given to only one skater every and is based on the accomplishments of the skater over the course of the year. A very well deserved award for Wes who has had an incredible year, which included a 16 page interview in Trasher Magazine, DC’s “Crusty by Nature” video,  DC’s “Extra Crusty” video, and Thrasher and Sk8Mafia "Pack of Hydes” video. When he wasn’t busy filming video parts he was traveling around the world skating amazing spots in Brazil, Indonesia, Peru, Chile, Portugal, France and more. 

Wes joins ranks of skaters who have won the award including DC ’s Danny Way, who won the award in 1991 and 2004 and Chris Cole, who won in 2005 and 2009.
